As a kid, we had a dog named Sam was a Sat poodle mixed with I think Cocker Spaniel, and he came to our family when my father married my stepmother. Sam has been very well behaved and its vices revolved around food. Sam was a thief chip snack food moocher. His favorite places to get a snack has been stolen, either in the dining room table, or the contents of the kitchen garbage can. He usually fared better at the table, because Mother was sure to serve something, usually vegetables than any of us six children happen to like.If the dog has managed to slip something really special, like a partially eaten chicken leg, he was trying to hide under the couch cushions in our den down.

We all shared the responsibilities of Sam's care. We took turns feeding him the food he was supposed to eat, and all the lima beans that my sister refused to eat, and make sure he had clean water. Sometimes he would give him his bath. Mum take Sam to the groomers, at a clip and wash. He came home with a clean white coat, pink toes and rings in her ears.Sat hated these arcs and spend the rest of the day trying to get these things off his ears. When we bathed Sam, we fill the bathtub with water, then spend 30 minutes trying to find the dog. I firmly believe that animals have psychic abilities when it comes to baths and trips to the vet. That's why they disappear when the suspicion of one or the other is apparent. When Sam was finally captured, he sat in the bath looking at us with the saddest eyes he could muster. Once done, he quickly escaped again and drying by itself rubbing along the sides of the living room couch.Whatever form the method of bathing Sat obtained, its next mission in life was to go out and get dirty again as soon as possible.
