The Mega Ring is seven layers of hard material to the sounding board inside. The exterior protective strap was stitched with three layers of stitching. The vast majority of toys are tested by my dogs are in fragments in the session the first play. It has withstood several years now, and there is not a mark on the toy, or a broken item.
This product is great for the lighter chewing dogs (5 stars), but would not recommend for strong chewers (3 stars). Thus a rating of 4 stars.

Tiger tested? Don’t know, but certainly Aussie-approved!
Mega Ring by Tuffy dog toys is a strong, well made toy. Tuffy said in their advertisement for this toy, "Tiger Tested - approved dog." I do not know anything about the tests performed by tigers, but I know my three Australian shepherds would certainly approve of the toy.
