We're back home after spending the weekend with an extended vacation Alex's parents in Omaha, Neb. The heat and humidity followed by lots of rain led to a lot of time spent indoors, Kona who used to try to get acquainted with the resident cats. Norton, the gray tabby tiny, and Bert, the big white beast, were less happy with the presence of Kona. (Post continued below)

There were fireworks outside, too, which does not seem to bother all Kona. We were taking her for walks in our neighborhood, where people were shooting fireworks for weeks after the fall test its response to noise.It was also insensitive to the house as it was in Omaha. So that was a plus.
